Cathedral of Saint Anne, El Salvador
Cathedral of Saint Anne or Catedral de Santa Ana is a Roman Catholic Cathedral located in Santa Ana, El Salvador. The most famous cathedral in El Salvador was built between 1906 and 1913 when it was also consecrated. In contrary to the majority of cathedrals in El Salvador which were built in Spanish Colonial Style Cathedral of Saint Anne was built in Neo-Gothic style. Unlike its splendid white facade the interior of the cathedral is clean and simple.
Cathedral of Saint Anne was restored in 1993 but it was severely damaged by the earthquake in 2001.
