Parinacota Church, Chile
Parinacota Church is a Roman Catholic Church located in Aymara village near the small town of Putre in Lauca National Park at hight of 4,400 meters (14,500 feet) Chile. The church was built from volcanic material in the 17th century and is notable for its Spanish architecture with very interesting interior in the Andean Baroque of the 17th century. The original church was reconstructed and whitened in 1789.
