Kingston Parish Church, Jamaica

Kingston Parish Church is an Anglican church located south of Parade in Kingston, Jamaica. The original church from 1695 was destroyed in an earthquake in 1907, while the present church was built in 1911. The church tower was added as a memorial to the fallen soldiers after the World War I.

Kingston Parish Church is regarded as one of the most beautiful churches in Jamaica. It also houses valuable relics, artworks and sculptures such as memorial made by John Bacon to the English Admiral John Benbow who died in Port Royal and monument to John Wolmer, wealthy Kingston goldsmith who left his wealth in a will to found a school.

Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana, Bolivia

Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana is a Roman Catholic shrine located in the town of Copacabana, Bolivia. The shrine became famous for the 84 cm (33 inches) tall statue of the Virgin of Copacabana (also known as Virgen de la Candelaria, the Dark Virgin of the Lake) made of maguey woods. The statue which is believed to have miraculous healing powers was created in the late 1570's by Francisco Tito Yupanqui.

The shrine originally built from mud and brick in the 16th century was extended between 1610 and 1619 as the number of pilgrims increased, while the present Spanish colonial style structure was completed in 1820. The statue of the Virgin of Copacabana was canonized by the Vatican in 1925 and the Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana became the most important pilgrimage site in Bolivia.

La Santísima Trinidad de Paraná, Paraguay

La Santísima Trinidad de Paraná also referred as the Holy Trinity of Paraná or simply the "ruins of Trinidad" are the ruins of Jesuit mission in Paraguay located in the Parana River area near the city of Encarnación, Paraguay. The Jesuit Reduction – small colony was established by the Jesuit missionaries in Paraguay to "civilize" and catechize the native population.

La Santísima Trinidad de Paraná was constructed in 1706 but it was abandoned after the Jesuit Order in Europe was dissolved in 1773. Relatively late construction of the Trinidad Reduction enabled the preservation of this miniature city-state and was also inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage sites in 1993. The nearby Jesuit Reduction Jesús de Tavarangue also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage sites was built in 1685.
